Mr. András G. INOTAI

 

András is strategic planning and policy co-ordinator in the Competition Directorate General of the European Commission. He is responsible for contributing to the development of the strategic direction of the Competition Directorate General's activities in all areas of competition law enforcement, competition policy initiatives and competition advocacy. Previously he has worked for a number of years in the Telecommunications Unit of the Directorate-General, specialising in antitrust cases in the broadband and broadcasting sector and the application of the EC regulatory framework for electronic communications.

 

Before joining the European Commission, András was working in the Brussels office of the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was member of the Antitrust, Competition and Trade Practice Group and specialised in telecommunications, media and technology cases.

 

András teaches competition law and regulation in various universities and colleges and frequently published articles and studies. He graduated in Law at the ELTE University of Budapest, and holds a Master's Degree in European Community Law from the College of Europe in Bruges.
